The movement towards evidenced based practices in the practice of psychotherapy has major importance on how effectively and efficiently mental health counselors provide services to their clients within an accountable and sound ethical model. What follows is a bibliography of meta-analysis articles and other studies of evidenced based practices for treating 12 mental health disorders: Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Phobias, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Alcohol Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Anorexia, Bulimia, ADHD, and Autism. This section first begins with some articles which provide an overview of the history and rationale for the establishment of Evidenced Based Practices in Mental Health Services. After the articles on the EBP's for various diagnoses there is also offered two additional tools. The first is the listing of guidebooks for EBPs for depressive disorders and anxiety disorders. The second are the internet resources available on EBP's. The desire is to further the science and knowledge of EBP's especially within the Mental Health Counseling Profession.
